Between the Provencal Baronnies and Mont Ventoux winds the Toulourenc river, meaning "all or nothing". The surrounding valley is a veritable paradise for nature lovers and hikers.
The three villages of Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux, Brantes and Savoillans lie along the river, offering exceptional views over the valley. Each has its own charm and activities, which you can discover by strolling through their narrow streets.

The Gorges du Toulourenc and the Ouvèze have been classified as Natura 2000 sites since 2010. The aim of this European network is to achieve a sustainable balance between human activities and the preservation of biodiversity.
Good to know: over-visiting the Gorges du Toulourenc threatens the site's biodiversity (trampling degrades the habitat of aquatic species, the construction of pebble dams limits water flow and traps aquatic fauna, water quality is degraded by garbage and sunscreen residues...).
In order to preserve this fragile site, we advise you not to swim or hike in the Gorges du Toulourenc, but to visit other sites instead:
- The GR 91, a long-distance hiking trail from Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux, overlooks the green cliffs of the Toulourenc.
- The Toulourenc Valley geological trail from Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux to Brantes.
