Situated in the Toulourenc valley, at the foot of the northern slopes of the mythical Mont Ventoux, Savoillans is a small, isolated village nestled between mountains and meadows, in absolute calm.
The village is mainly devoted to lavender and spelt cultivation, but also to nature-related activities.

After crossing the green mountains along the Toulourenc river, you'll take the stone bridge that leads to the village.

From the road, you'll see the late 19th-century church of Saint-Agricol. With its high, pointed bell tower, it adds to the village's charm, as does the beautiful stone washhouse fed by springs from Mont Ventoux.

Park behind the Place de la Mairie, close to the picnic and play area. The square is named after the first inhabitant of Savoillans, who may well have given his name to the village: Sabuleius. Excavations at colet Margot have revealed the site of a Roman villa.

The must-see Ferme St Agricol de Savoillans is located on the outskirts of the village. Housed in a distinctive building, this former Ursuline convent built in the 18th century was a place for agronomic experimentation and is now used for a variety of cultural events.

Savoillans is also home to the Art and Nature trail created by the "Grandeur Nature" collective, which winds its way from the village to the Ventoux forest; a trail of environmental art creations for the whole family to discover all year round.

Contemporary painter Dragan DRAGIC has lived in Savoillans for almost 40 years. The Ventoux landscapes have always been a great source of inspiration for him.
