Did you know?
Vaucluse is the birthplace of truffle cultivation, and the leading truffle-producing department in France. The climate and soil are ideal for producing the best tuber melanosporum! The best period for the black diamond of Vaucluse is in the heart of winter, from mid-January to mid-February. From one year to the next, the season can be shorter or longer, from mid-December to mid-March in the most favorable years.
